The advanced 8582UG 8-camera security DVR series uses H.264 video compression and has an embedded operating system with on-screen display (OSD) for easy user programming. This standalone DVR has P.O.S., 8 video and 8 audio channels. User selectable image capture rate and video resolution. Models are available with a variety of hard disk drive sizes up to a maximum of 2T. A built-in web browser allows remote internet viewing using MS Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater. Free downloadable software allows programming and advanced DVR control during remote viewing using the  client interface and SMART PHONE technology.  New Pentaplex technology can display live video, record, playback, backup, remote view, and allow network access simultaneously.
